We are looking for speakers to help move our delegates towards a better understanding of the key role learning plays in successful societies. There are three main goals for CCEF3 2024 and in order to achieve them, we will need speakers who are able to illustrate complicated topics in a clear, concise and above all authoritative manner. The main objectives of the conference are:
1. Create a set of use cases for CCEF3 (sef) - The application
2. Gain consensus with regards to the future development of CCEF3
3. Create a common understanding of the role of learning in the future
A core theme of the conference is that of autonomous learning which we believe is key to our being able to to adapt in realtime to the challenges we will face in the future. We are hoping that our speakers will be able to inspire our delegates to want to learn more about learning.
Full support will be provided to the speakers to help them create their presentations. They will have access to our entire team who will be on hand to give advice about crafting their presentations for success.
All the resources required will be provided for speakers to be able to deliver their presentations easily. Travel, accommodation and other incidentals will also be covered in the event that speakers are able to attend in person.
We are asking speakers to deliver their presentation in English. Translation services will be available to ensure delegates can listen in their own language.
Our delegates come from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Good speaker candidates will be able to explain complex ideas in a simple, easy to understand way. Delegates will be attending both in person and at a distance and as such experience presenting virtually will be key.
Delegates will leave the session understanding not just the contents of the session but its implication for the broader notion of autonomous learning. Each session has a detailed objective geared toward producing tangible outputs.
Day One - Main PlenaryThe theme of the day talks about learning in society and why it is important. We take modern education for granted but there was a time when it was not the norm. The speaker will have a clear understanding of the core societal problems that education seeks to solve. | 1hr |
Day Two - Main PlenaryAn understanding of history, the “how” of “why we are here” is key to help us make informed decisions for the future. The speaker for this session will help highlight why an understanding of history is important by illustrating how perceptions of history have impacted decision making. | 1hr |
Day Three - Main PlenaryOur interconnected world has implications for all of us. The internet has brought us all closer together but paradoxically has created a more polarised world that is breaking down existing social structures. The speaker will be able to provide a bird's eye view of our globalised world and the implications this has for future generations’ learning needs. Delegates will gain a good understanding of the role they play in the globalised world and be able to juxtapose this with learning for the future. | 1hr |
Day Four - Main PlenaryThe human condition is unique. We are all unique. We are on the verge of creating an application that will allow, for the first time, fully differentiated learning on a per student basis. Our challenge is explaining in simple terms what exactly the human condition is. The speaker during this session will be able to illustrate simply yet effectively what exactly it means to be human. | 1hr |
Day Five - Main PlenaryAs difficult as it is, the future needs to be understood in some form. Emerging trends play a big role in shaping our future and the speaker for this session will be able to identify the major themes that will eventually shape our future. | 1hr |
